I remember I was so saddened to hear of Mr. Tingwell’s death. I grew up watching him on T.V. We have just finished watching a taped final episode of Bed of Roses. My condolences to his family, he was a great Australian talent and a great Australian.

only just heard of Bud’s passing, I grew up in the late 50s & 60s in grey old England watching Bud in films such as Miss Marple with Margaret Rutherford & programmes like Emergency ward 19 & then many years later imediatley recognised him in Neighbours, my daughters were then educated in the history of Bud !! Adorable actor, they just don’t make them like him anymore. Was watching him today on Murder at the Gallop, and wondered how he was doing, and now so sad to hear of his passing. Love to his family, RIP

Bud was a gentle, kind, patient, fellow who had the abiding respect, and love of those in his remarkable career as well a decent, moral human being in all things.

While it deeply saddened this citizen to know of his debt to nature, I take great comfort that he influenced goodness, and left this world a better place because of it.

May God bless richly bless Mr. Tingwell’s family, and give them His peace that passes all understanding.

i have watched Charles, time and time again in the 1960s Agatha Christie films.He always came over as a very warm character.Sadly missed.

What a shock to hear this sad news. I just found a notice of Buds passing.I have long been a fan and still watch movies from long ago, especially the Margaret Rutherford films. He was fun to watch and from all I read a real gentleman.What a smile he had and a great shine to his eyes.
